Book Launch - Barking Mad To Calm and Quiet by Julie Cluley, Dog Behaviour Expert

Join Dog Behaviour Expert Julie Cluley to launch her new book, Barking Mad to Calm and Quiet: Beyond Dog Training and discover a gentler path to help your dog go from barking, lunging reactive to calm and quiet.

Is your dog barking at everything, always on alert, reactive, or simply finding it hard to settle?

If you feel like you have tried everything, this book offers a different way forward.

You don’t need stricter rules or harsher tools. This isn’t about obedience or trying to change who your dog is. It’s about understanding what sits beneath the behaviour and discovering how the relationship between you and your dog can become the foundation for calm.

At this special book launch, Julie will introduce The Peaceful Paws Framework, the gentle approach at the heart of Barking Mad to Calm and Quiet: Beyond Dog Training.

The evening will be hosted by Katy Brunton, Barklay Park Dog Day Care Centre, who will be in conversation with Julie, exploring how the book came about, what inspired its creation, and the journey behind the Peaceful Paws Framework.

Discover how changing the way you show up can help your dog feel safer, build trust and begin to truly relax.

An evening of insight, connection and a new way of seeing your dog.

Come and celebrate the launch, meet Julie, and discover what it means to go beyond dog training, from Barking Mad to Calm and Quiet.

Live Makers Q&A with the Support The Makers Team

We're opening the doors for a live conversation with the people behind Support The Makers.

On Saturday 11 July at 10.00am, Carmen (founder) and Lauren of Unravel Business Support, who's been working alongside Carmen for the past two years - are hosting a live Q&A session to talk through the changes we've been making to support you, and to answer your questions directly about being a maker in the Support The Makers Community.

This one's for all Makers in the Support The Makers world. Whether you've traded with us for years, you're waiting to hear back on an application, or you're a maker hoping to join your very first market, there's a space here for you.

When you sign up, you'll get a link to submit any questions you have in advance - applications, waiting lists, the updated terms, market reels, anything that's been on your mind.

And if you don't have a question? Come anyway. There's plenty to take away just from listening in.

A couple of things to note:

• This is live only - we won't be sharing a recording afterwards.

• There are just 100 spots, and over 1,000 makers in our community, so grab yours early.

We'd love to see you there.

Show Up & Stand Out The story behind the scroll - and what it really takes to show up with Marti Jeremiah-Shelley

The Story Behind the Scroll — And What It Really Takes to Show Up

Every scroll hides a story.

At this special networking event, Marti Jeremiah-Shelley of Wee Bit Social will be sharing hers.

From the early steps of building her business to navigating visibility, doubt, growth, and the pressure of always being “on,” Marti will take us behind the scenes of what it has truly taken to show up — consistently, courageously, and authentically — in both business and life.

This is more than a talk about social media. It’s a real conversation about resilience, confidence, lessons learned, and the defining moments that shaped her journey.

Why join us?
Because showing up isn’t always easy — and you don’t have to figure it out alone. If you’ve ever struggled with visibility, confidence, or putting yourself out there, this conversation will resonate. You’ll gain honest insight from someone who’s walked the path and built something meaningful along the way.

What will you leave with?
✨ A renewed perspective on what it truly means to show up
✨ Practical insight you can apply to your own business or brand
✨ Encouragement to own your story
✨ Genuine connections with fellow business owners and creatives

Come for the networking.
Stay for the story.

Refreshments will be available.
