Beginners Lino Print Workshop at Lind & Lime with Abigail Smith

Join us on Saturday 28th November for a relaxed, creative session where you’ll make a block you can use for cards.
Don’t worry if you’re a beginner. This class is suitable for those who are completely new to lino printing, and you’ll be guided through the basics of creating your block in a fun, relaxed environment. It’s a lovely chance to explore your creativity and learn or develop a new skill.
The class will cover:
Introduction to Linocut printmaking and techniques
Creating your image and transfer of image onto Lino
Carving your image
Inking your Lino block
Printing your image to create your own 5" x 7" greeting card
This workshop runs as part of the Support The Makers Market at Lind & Lime, so there’s plenty of opportunity to get inspired and support local makers before and after your session.
