Lind & Lime Summer Market 2025 - A Day of Sunshine, Makers & Community

From permanent jewellery and embroidery portraits to papercutting workshops, gelato, and cocktails – our summer market at Lind & Lime Gin Distillery brought together creativity, community, and plenty of sunshine

One of the most important parts of Support The Makers is community and collaboration - and that’s been at the heart of what we do from the very beginning.

We absolutely love this venue. Working with the fabulous Lind & Lime team is always such a pleasure - they’re extremely supportive and welcoming to all our makers and customers.

Sunshine, Makers & Community

On Saturday 28th June 2025, we hosted our third Lind & Lime Summer Market, and what a day it was!

The sun shone all day, creating the perfect atmosphere for browsing, chatting, and celebrating handmade. We welcomed 38 local makers showcasing their work, from jewellery and embroidery to homeware, art, textiles, and accessories.

Highlights included:

  • Permanent jewellery by Trish Young Jewellery.

  • A brand-new experience of embroidery portraits by Biz Sutton.

  • Papercut Punk’s Folk Art Flock papercutting workshop (always a sell-out favourite!).

As always, the food traders made sure no one went hungry or thirsty.

We were joined by

  • Bonnie Brews for coffee and bakes —and their new Lind & Lime Bake was a huge hit.

  • Basement Gelato for delicious gelato.

  • The Strawberry Box with colourful, chocolate-covered strawberries and matcha.

  • Plus, the Lind & Lime Bar served refreshing summer cocktails.

This was our third market at Lind & Lime, and we’re so happy to see the footfall grow each time. It takes work (and time!) to establish a new Edinburgh market location, but with every one we build more awareness, more community connections, and more opportunities for makers to share their craft.

The atmosphere was super chilled - sunshine, happy makers, and the buzz of Biz Sutton’s sewing machine filling the distillery space. Customers were steady throughout the day, and some makers even shared that it was their busiest and most successful market of the year so far.

Markets like these aren’t just about stalls - they’re about building community. From food traders and workshops to cocktails and masterclasses, every piece adds to the experience and helps us bring in new audiences.

And it’s the feedback that makes it all worthwhile. Hearing makers talk about record-breaking sales or securing new stockist opportunities makes us so SO proud. We also love when visitors tell us how much they enjoyed the high standard and variety of crafts on offer.

After 7 years of running markets, it’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.

💛 Thank You 💛

A huge thank you to the Lind & Lime team, our incredible makers, food traders, and every single person who came along. It’s always a joy to celebrate local makers in Edinburgh with you.

We’re already looking forward to our next market at Lind & Lime - keep an eye on our website and socials for upcoming dates.

See you next time!
