Edinburgh’s First Craft Rave - A Festive Night Out with a Creative Twist

Join us for Edinburgh’s First Craft Rave!

Bring your craft, enjoy love music, food and drinks and creativity at Ghillie Dhu. Make. Meet. Connect.

Forget the usual festive night out. This is your chance to swap crowded bars for a cosy table full of makers, bring along the project you’ve been meaning to finish, order your favourite food and drinks, enjoy great music, and spend an evening surrounded by people who love making as much as you do.

Support The Makers is bringing something completely new to Edinburgh, a night where creativity and community come together. Whether you’re knitting, crocheting, embroidering, sketching, journalling, hand sewing, painting miniatures, making jewellery, or working on another portable creative project, you’re welcome.

No pressure. No expectations. No need to be “good enough”.

Just bring your craft, your curiosity, and come join a room full of creative people.

What to Expect

🧶 Bring your own craft or creative project
🎧 A live DJ playing feel-good tunes throughout the evening
🍸 A fully stocked bar with drinks available all night
🍕 Food available to order from your table
🪑 Shared tables designed for chatting, meeting new people and making connections
💛 A welcoming community of makers, artists and creatives

This isn’t a workshop and there are no demonstrations, it’s simply a relaxed space to make, unwind, and enjoy a different kind of night out.

Your Ticket Includes

✨ Entry to Edinburgh’s very first Craft Rave
✨ A seat at a shared table - whether you come alone or with a friend
✨ Live DJ entertainment
✨ 20% off food and drinks purchased at Ghillie Dhu
✨ A complimentary one-scoop gelato from Basement Gelato to enjoy before or after the event

Food and drinks are available to purchase separately from the venue throughout the evening.

Come Make Memories

Whether you come with friends or arrive on your own, you’ll be welcomed into a room full of people who understand the joy of creating.

So grab your project bag, bring your latest creation (or the one sitting unfinished in a drawer!), and join us for a festive evening celebrating creativity, connection and community.

Because making is always better together. 💛

Create. Connect. Celebrate.
